Ellis Distinguished Professor Delivers Keynote at International Information Management Conference
Ellis School of Business Leadership Distinguished Professor Xin (Robert) Luo recently served as a keynote speaker at the 37th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM), hosted by the College of Management at National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech).
Held on May 16, the conference explored the theme, “AI Agents Leading the Future: From Conversation to Action.” Luo delivered a keynote presentation titled, “The Epistemological Crisis of Generative AI: Hallucinations, Trust, and the Future of IS Research.”
An internationally recognized scholar in information systems and management, Luo currently serves as co-editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Accounting Information Management. Luo is also the Endowed Creative Enterprise Chair and Endowed Dean’s Professor of Research Excellence.
Recently, Luo was ranked no. 1 globally among information systems scholars in the AIS Senior Scholars’ list of Premier journals for 2023-2025.
His research and leadership continue to shape global conversations surrounding information systems and the evolving role of technology in business and society.
