GSC 2026 Team Registration

As we celebrate the sixth year of the Global Scaling Challenge, we invite you to secure a spot for your institution's team(s) in the upcoming 2026 competition. Institutions are encouraged to register by January 15, 2026 as spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each regional qualifier is capped at 20 teams, with a maximum of two teams per school*. One mentor may lead up to two teams.

• If a third team is registered from the same school, it will automatically be placed on a waitlist.
• Should the 20-team cap not be reached, additional teams from the waitlist may be invited.

If you are a student without a mentor or a full team, please register anyway. We will help connect you with a team and mentor.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with a link and instructions for your students to complete their individual registration using the team's name you provide. All necessary forms must be signed and submitted by February 10, 2026.

Your registration ensures your institution's spot in this global competition, where student teams compete on real-world scaling challenges for top recognition and more than $35,000 in awards.

*The New Mexico Qualifier may include multiple teams from the University of New Mexico.

Mentors

Help us scale the Global Scaling Challenge by hosting a state or campus competition or piloting GSC in your class with an example case. This allows your institution to include more student teams while contributing to the growth of the challenge. We also welcome new Steering Committee Members. Please contact Corey Cooper if you'd like to get involved.

Representing Faculty/Expert

Please enter the name of the faculty or expert who will be representing your team. If your team does not yet have a mentor, you may list your name in the Faculty Name and add "student team leader" in this section, in lieu of a faculty/expert title. A mentor can always be added later.
