GSC 2027 Team Registration

As we launch the seventh year of the Global Scaling Challenge, we invite institutions, mentors and student leaders to secure their place in the 2027 competition. Institutions are encouraged to register by January 15, 2027 as participation is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Team Structure & Registration

Each regional qualifier is capped at 20 teams, with a maximum of two teams per school*.

• Each team must have a designated mentor or faculty lead.
• One mentor may support up to two teams.
• Additional teams from the same institution will be placed on a waitlist.
• Waitlisted teams may be invited if space becomes available.

For Students

If you do not yet have a full team or mentor, you may register as a Team Leader. We will support team formation and mentor matching where possible.

Post-Registration Process

After registering, teams will receive:

• a confirmation email
• Instructions for individual student registration
• Required participation forms

All forms must be completed by February 10, 2027.

What Participation Includes

• A live, real-world company scaling case
• Exposure to a global competition environment
• Access to judges, mentors and industry leaders
• Eligibility for $40,000+ in awards and recogition

Mentor Interest

If you are a faculty member, industry professional, or potential mentor interested in participating in or learning more about the Global Scaling Challenge, please select "Yes" in the mentor interest question below.

Mentors play a critical role in scaling participation across institutions and regions. Opportunities include:

• Hosting a campus or regional competition
• Piloting GSC within a course or academic program
• Supporting one or more student teams directly

We also welcome mentors to engage at a deeper level through the Global Scaling Challenge Steering Committee.
