Our Executive MBA community kicked off the Industry and Alumni Night Speaker Series with Victoria Archuleta, BBA Marketing ’14 and EMBA Global Leadership ’24.

The series gives EMBA students the chance to hear directly from alumni and other well-connected leaders while building relationships across cohorts. For the first event, members of the Classes of 2027 and 2028 joined EMBA alumni for food, networking and conversation before Victoria’s talk.

In “Shaping New Mexico’s Future: From Vision to Impact,” Victoria shared how the EMBA became a pivotal point in her career, giving her the opportunity to reflect on her values, leadership style and long-term goals while building relationships that continue to shape her professional life.

Today, Victoria serves as senior economic developer for the Village of Los Lunas, where she leads business retention, expansion and attraction, workforce development, tourism, film recruitment and strategic economic development initiatives. Her work has supported millions of dollars in business and infrastructure investment and helped position Los Lunas as one of New Mexico’s fastest-growing and most competitive communities.

She also gave students and alumni an inside look at major projects shaping the region, including work tied to Meta, Pacific Fusion, transportation and infrastructure investment, workforce growth and business recruitment. She spoke about the strategy behind economic development, from negotiating incentives and navigating public policy to understanding community needs and building the relationships that help move major projects forward.

Thank you, Victoria, for returning to Ellis and sharing your career journey, your EMBA experience and the work you are doing to help shape New Mexico’s future.
