How to Apply
Congratulations on taking the next step toward your graduate degree at The Ellis School of Business Leadership. We use a holistic admissions process. We consider many factors, including GPA, work experience, program alignment and prerequisite coursework to make an admission decision. All applicants are required to demonstrate proof of an earned bachelor's degree prior to applying.

Graduate Application Instructions
- Create an account with the Ellis Application Portal.
- Select your program and term.
- Attach all the requested documents and pay the application fee.
- Apply for funding as soon as you submit your application.
- Check your application status at any time by using the application portal. Applications are processed in date order with consideration for the upcoming semester.
- You will receive notifications by email when your application is complete and when your decision is ready.
- If you started an application prior to August 17, please use this link to finish your application.

What Is a Rolling Deadline?
We accept applications on a rolling basis. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and spots will be filled accordingly. We encourage you to apply early to secure your spot. Applications submitted after all spots have been filled will be considered for the following term.
Information for Active Military and Veterans

Application Fee Waiver
Active military members and veterans can apply to waive the application submission fee. The following documents are accepted as verification of military status:
- For active duty, reserve or National Guard: copy of orders, valid military ID or memo from unit commander on official letterhead.
- For honorably discharged, retired or disabled veterans: copy of DD214.
On-Campus Support
UNM's Veteran and Military Resource Center provides comprehensive educational benefits and resources: VetSuccess on-campus counseling, student employment opportunities, scholarships and financial resources and database of veteran and military support resources in New Mexico.
