MSCBA FAQs
Is the degree a MS in Cybersecurity or MS in Business Analytics, or both?
The degree is both—you will earn a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Business Analytics, no matter which track you choose. This is due to the core curriculum, which includes foundations in cybersecurity and analytics.
Do work experience or certifications count toward the 30-hour admission prerequisite?

They must be demonstrated on your official transcripts, with courses passed with a B or better. Not sure if you qualify? Send your transcripts to our admission team at andersongrad@unm.edu and we can evaluate your prerequisite coursework!
